Webinar - Exploring partnerships across EU Projects

08/10/2026

Collaboration is at the centre of the SOPHIA project’s strategy.

On 8 October, the SOPHIA project brought together seven Horizon Europe projects for a clustering webinar entitled “Exploring partnerships across EU projects”.

Participants from SOPHIA, SOLARIS, EVERPV, REWIND, EcoPlast, Autoloop and SORT4CIRC compared experiences, identified common ground and explored how they could work together. One key element emerged: although each sector has its own specific challenges, many of the underlying issues are strikingly similar.

Three key areas for cooperation emerged from the discussions:

  1. Shared eco-design criteria across product categories
  2. Interoperable Digital Product Passport (DPP) data models
  3. Joint policy recommendations to EU decision-makers

The conversation will continue in November, when SOPHIA hosts “Closing the Loop on Solar: Digital Traceability and Circularity for PV Panels”. The event will take place on Wednesday 4 November 2026, from 14:00 to 17:30 at CEPS, Brussels, followed by a networking cocktail.

This event will be a great opportunity to highlight the progress made by the SOPHIA projects as we are already halfway through. The work of partnering projects will also be highlighted. So, stay tuned, to hear more about the upcoming event
